Day two.

it's only halfway through day two but i feel like i've to blog about this. so i went to cityharvest today. yes, charismatic church. so what?

i went there. i didn't get drawn into the energy. i don't agree with the way it's run and the way they preach. but i love how all the people are so warm there. like they really welcome you. it's hardly felt anywhere. they tap your shoulder and introduce themselves to you, they try to talk to you, ask you if you wanna join them for lunch. now that's something i don't see in lcc.

but like, i came home to tell mummy about it. from the first sentence, i knew she was already trying to dissuade me from going back. i am not five years old and i am not brainless. why are people so close-minded about charismatic churches? i'm not accepting their way of doing things, but there's no need to harp and harp on it and the fact that they're opposite from what churches should be. yes, they run things differently. they're "charismatic".

so? why are people so close-minded about it. we should take a look at our own church. preaching sermons that aren't applicable to our current life? i'm not saying learning the bible is unimportant. i'm saying it's more important to know how to lead out christian values with less superficiality in our lives.

and people who go there somehow always manage to mix with the brainless charismatic people. somehow andrea isn't. thank god she isn't. at least i had a good first experience there. went out for lunch with dorcas, andrea and her sister. seriously. they're horribly easy-to-be-with people. and i realise how much life sc has deprived me of.

so yes. this incident, shitload of homework and piano shall keep me off bo geng today. i see him online and i actually feel the urge to talk to jay more than him. phewwww. and not because i like jay. but because jamie, him and zhongxuan and me are supposed to go out for a movie on saturday and we've to decide on a movie.

for the first time in my life, i actually have to ask jay something. secondly, first time in my life i need to talk to him more than bo geng. phewwwww.
